MLM is basically a Multi-Level Marketing. It is a kind of marketing structure where the product or service flows on Word of Mouth publicity and most of the companies avoid advertisements when following such structure. Advertisements requires a huge some of money which in turn raises the cost of the product but there's no change in quality whereas the amount which was supposed to be paid to the advertisers and middle men or distribution channel is distributed among the distributors of the company.

Ever recommended your friend a movie, or a restaurent?
Obviously, It would be yes. But have you ever get paid for that?
No, right?

Here, MLM comes into action. When you recommend certain products to your near n dear ones, you get commission on that product.
MLM is said to be one those industries which has produced the maximum millionaire's in the world.

The top leaders like Tony Blair, Robert Kiyosaki, Bill Gates, Bill Clinton advocates MLM industry.

Now the most important thing, how to classify a good MLM, because most people especially in India feels like it's a get quick rich scheme or chit-scam etc. So, here are some criteria on the basis of which you could choose your MLM:
 

1. Background or profile of the company: Company must have a track record of more then 10 years in the market.
2. Compensation plan: Company should have most distributor friendly plan. (As there two other plans i.e. Company friendly and Upline friendly). The new-comer's shouldn't feel like they are not earning.
3. Product: The products that are being offered by the company should be in FMCG(fast movable consumable goods) category and most importantly should be unique and are the need of the people in long run.
4. There should not be any Joining fee, Renewal fee, Kit system in the company.
5. Company should provide free trainings to the people who are working with them or are willing to start it as a business.
6. Company's policy should include No Demotion and No Pass-ups.
7. If the company is active in multiple countries then it could be an added advantage.
